The Super 14 is the largest Rugby union football club championship in the southern hemisphere, consisting of four teams from Australia (Queensland/Reds, New South Wales/Waratahs, Southern NSW & ACT/Brumbies and Western Australia/Force), five teams from New Zealand (Auckland/Blues, Waikato/Chiefs, Wellington/Hurricanes, Canterbury/Crusaders and Otago/Highlanders) and five teams from South Africa (Free State/Cheetahs, Western Cape/Stormers, Kwazulu Natal/Sharks, Gauteng/Lions and Northern Gauteng/Bulls). The fourteen sides all play against one another once in the regular season, with no divisional or pool system. With each team granted one bye week, this phase of the competition runs for fourteen weeks.. considered as the best in the world. Knowing About Stormers

The Stormers, for sponsorship reasons referred to as Vodacom Stormers, are a South African rugby union team competing in the Super 14 competition (formerly Super 12). The Stormers will play their first ever final against the Vodacom Bulls this year after beating the Waratahs in the semi-final stage. In the two previous years in which they reached the semi-finals, 1999 and 2004, they were eliminated by the Highlanders and Crusaders. Despite their lack of silverware over the years, their home stadium, Newlands, typically draws the highest average attendance figures of any ground in the Super 14. The team captain for 2010 is flank Schalk Burger.

The Blue Bulls, for sponsorship reasons named the Vodacom Blue Bulls, or more popularly by their Afrikaans name die Blou Bulle, are a South African rugby union team that participates in the annual Currie Cup tournament. They are governed by the Blue Bulls Rugby Union and are based at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, Gauteng province.

What was previously the Northern Transvaal Rugby Union renamed itself the Blue Bulls Rugby Union in the 1990s, and the Northern Transvaal team became known as the Blue Bulls at the same time. When Vodacom became the team's biggest sponsor their name was also added. Previously the side was sponsored by ExxonMobil and known as the Mobil Blue Bulls.
